Northampton Pump Track

We need your help for the October 15th meeting by emailing your support for the pumptrack to Sarah LaValley. This email link will prefill the subject+body if you have a local email client. You can view the template here to manually send.

What is the Northampton Pump Track Project?

A pump track is a looping circuit of rollers and berms, designed for bikes, scooters, skateboards, and more. Riders use their body motion—not pedals—to generate speed and flow. Pump tracks are designed for all ages and skill levels, from toddlers and kids on balance bikes and scooters to seasoned BMX and mountain bike riders.

We're currently in the feasibility study phase, working closely with the City of Northampton and internationally recognized pump track builders Velosolutions to explore the best possible location and design. Together, we're evaluating potential sites, gathering community input, and creating a plan for what will become Northampton's first official public pump track—a space built for all ages, wheels, and skill levels.
